On this occasion, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, President of Maharishi Vidya Mandir School Group said that Yoga is one of the 40 areas of Vedic knowledge which has received international recognition till now. There are 39 more areas. These should also get recognition. Brahmachari Girish Ji said that International Yoga Day gives us the message of world peace. Vedic knowledge has the knowledge of prevention and control. Establishment of peace is possible through the path of peace and this is possible only through preventive measures.

  • On the occasion of International Yoga Day, a grand program is being organized at Maharishi Mangalam Bhawan, Narmadapuram Road, Bhopal on 21 June 2025. This event will be organized under the joint aegis of Maharishi Vidya Mandir School Group and Maharishi Vishwa Shanti Andolan.
  • Brahmachari Girish ji attended 90th birth anniversary celebration of his Sitar Guru, world renowned Sitar Maestro Padmabhushan Pundit Debu Chaudhury ji. Students of UMAK centre founded by Debu ji have performed followed by Sitar recital by grandson of Debu ji, 10th generation musician of Senia Gharana master Adhiraj Chaudhury and Tabla solo by Pundit Anup Ghosh, A grade artist of Doordarshan. On this occasion Brahmachari ji has remembered teachings, kindness and blessings of Debu Dada and expressed his gratitude to Debu Dada.
